No obvious damage to vehicles

Shortly after noon today a SporTran bus was involved in a minor accident which sent nearly half a dozen passengers to the hospital, claiming they were injured.Shreveport Fire Chief Fred Sanders said there appeared to be no obvious damage to the bus or the El Camino that it bumped today around noon in the 500 block of Travis Street, however that did not stop five of the 17 passengers from claiming that they were injured.Fire Department personnel and several ambulances were tied up for more than an hour dealing with the situation along with members of the City of Shreveport's Risk Management team that pointed out that none fo the passengers had obvious signs of serious injuries and no blood was seen on around the bus. Both the driver of the bus and the El Camino were not injured and both vehicles were driven away from the scene. Sanders said the bus barely "bumped" the El Camino before the claims of injuries were reported.
