An evening at Logan Mansion

The Logan Mansion Prohibition (Private) Club opens March 29 on the lawn at the Logan Mansion with sounds of Robert Trudeau’s Second-Line Band.
But, before the main event, guests like Dr. Larry and Lori Allen, stopped by the Mansion  for a tour, tasty treats, Bartender Patrick Nix’s Pink Lemonade Martinis, and information.
The new private membership club is limited to 50 members  said founders Lisa Brutto  and son Joseph Ripley Robertson.
“It will be a nice social space,” said Joseph. He is particularly proud of the U-shaped, custom-made bar created of old doors he found in the mansion. “They can’t be used as doors any more. I didn’t want to throw them away. They are gorgeous doors.”
Daphne Lott whose attire channeled  1920s fashions, was among others taking a peek.  She was especially taken by the mansions’ furnishings. “The antiques are fabulous, including the stained glass window over the bar and the sculpture at the bottom of the stairs is on-of-a-kind,” said Lott.
Others: author Terry Harris, dressed as a 1930s “gumshoe,” Michael and Victoria Krutsinger, Drew Nauman, Joe Kane and Kelly Hughes, Shawn Elkins, Katy Larsen, Andrea Remedies.
Club price: $200 a month. So what does the club offer?
A sampling:
*Twenty 20 percent discount for overnight stays in the  Airbnb rooms.
*Daily lunches, with such fun names and hearty ingredients as: The Gatsby.” Classic lasagna with garlic bread; and “The Gangster,” Meat ball sandwich smothered with cheese and peppers and mushrooms on a six-inch deli roll. But also: “The Ghost Citrus  Salad,”  a fruit plate, with its own  lineup of hearty ingredients.
*Appetizers in the evening.
*Use of the library for business meetings.
